DIY floral garland

Blazer, heels, belt, top, collar - 2nd hand

Hair garland DIY

You will need wire, preferably green and enough length to bend at least half way around your head. Fake flowers connected to small pieces of wire, whatever size colour and shape you want, and ribbon. Beads are optional.  I bought all my supplies from a fabric and craft store.

1. Twist two pieces of the wire together.

2. Twist the two ends of the wire into loops.

3. Thread the wires from the flowers through the twisted wire and bend then around to secure them.

4. You may want to add a few beads here and their, to suit your style.

5. Tie two pieces of ribbon to the loops you made on the garland.
Make sure the two pieces of ribbon are
long enough to tie at the back of your head.

This is what my first one looked like.

This was my 2nd one I made, using pastel roses and bigger flowers.

Mini haul

Good weekend, spending quality time with friends, partying,
eating bad food, watching movies and buying clothes. I wore my Halloween costume to the party I was going to, and it went well. There were about 20 or so people there and we all watched Scream 4. At night. In the dark. Twas fun :)

I found this little dress in an Op-shop and thought it would be perfect for layering. It was a little on the more expensive side, for a second hand item, but I think i'll wear it a lot.
 I've really wanted a baseball top for ages and I found this one in the men's sale section of Cotton On for only $5! It wasn't exactly how I wanted it, but for the price, it was good enough. I also found this really nice burgundy shirt in the guys section, which will be great for layering in the colder seasons.

Halloween!

So I've got a halloween party to go to and i've been practising my face costume!
It sounds like nothing much whenever I say i'm going as a 'skeleton person thing', so I figured I better make it look really good so it lives up to more than what I called it :)

Firstly, please the ignore the terrible blogging. I've been sick and exhausted from school, but I have many outfit ideas that will eventually come! I really love making these inspiration posts, there are so many fabulous pics from Pinterest, WeHeartIt and Tumblr. 

I swear I've got the exact same jacket, from my friend's Grandma...

SOTM (Song Of The Moment) :

I know it's old, but my friend played it at school and I'm in love with the instrumental, and just the song as a whole. Seems really out of character...but oh well :)
